GYN: Contraception. Premenstrual dysphoric disorder.
I see my job as a privilege. Our clients trust us with some of the most intimate and emotionally charged parts of their lives. I love that I have the potential to improve a person's quality of life, whether it be supporting them through a complicated pregnancy, a loss, or a condition causing them distress that I can help with. Our clients are so kind and appreciative of everything we do for them.
Why did you choose Essex County OB/GYN?
I chose and have remained at Essex County first and foremost because of my colleagues. I have been at the practice for over a decade and now consider my colleagues to be my family and not just coworkers. I think everyone realizes that to a certain degree, our field is a stressful one, so when one of us is going through a tough time either professionally or personally, we look to our colleagues to lift us up and help us get through whatever we are dealing with. There is also a commitment to excellence and following evidence at our practice that I feel is crucial to providing high-quality care. Finally, as a private, physician-owned practice, we have the flexibility to make important decisions about the way care is delivered, such as visit length times, and bringing new procedures and services to our clients
