David F. Smail, MD, FACS

Dr. David Smail began his practice in 2002. Dr. Smail received his training at Brown University and the University of Vermont College of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Brown University. He then served in the U.S Navy until 2005 when he came to Beverly.
He has been board certified by the American College of Surgeons since 2003. He has particular interest in breast surgery, colonoscopy, gallbladder disease, gastrointestinal surgery, hernia surgery, melanoma, minimally invasive surgery and trauma.
He enjoys coaching hockey, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his family.
