Generally you are asked to arrive 30 minutes to an hour before your scheduled surgery. The center will call you the day before to verify your arrival time. This will allow the staff time to get you ready. You will be interviewed by the nurses, an anesthesiologist, and your surgeon.
Bring a list of your medications and dosages to the registration desk.
Your co-payment is expected at the time of your surgery. The Center accepts cash, check or major credit cards. Co-payment, deductibles and co-insurance amounts vary with your insurance plan.
Bring your insurance card(s) and a picture ID.
If you smoke, try to limit your smoking. This will make your post-operative recovery easier.
Do not wear jewelry, body piercings, makeup, lotions or perfume and leave valuables at home. The center cannot be responsible for lost items.
Bring or wear your glasses but do not wear contact lenses as they may get lost, dry out, or scratch your eyes. If you have hearing aids, please wear them.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be folded for storage.
When all the preparation is done you will be escorted to the operating room, where you will be monitored closely to keep you both safe and comfortable.
