William Mayers, M.D.
Dr. William Mayers is proud to join North Shore Pain Management as he shares their vision of multidisciplinary and comprehensive treatment of acute and chronic pain. He is passionate about working with patients to improve function and quality of life, utilizing a wide range of techniques including physical therapy, medications, and advanced interventions.
Born and raised in the Chicago area, Dr. Mayers is excited to establish roots in the Boston area. He completed his anesthesiology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in the Chicago suburbs. After completion of his anesthesiology training, Dr. Mayers returned to Loyola to complete his fellowship training in Pain Management.
Dr. William Mayers proudly holds memberships in the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management (ASRA), the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), and the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS). He has been involved in the presentation of multiple case reports discussing the treatment of pain in medically complex patients. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, sailing, and learning to love Boston sports teams.
