Nirav Shar, M.D.
Dr. Nirav Shah practices out of North Shore Pain Management and shares their mission to provide evidence-based, comprehensive treatment of acute and chronic pain. He strives to help patients understand their condition and treatment options with a primary focus of restoring a meaningful and productive quality of life.
Dr. Nirav Shah holds both an MD and MBA degree completing a duel degree program in medical school at Albany Medical College. Dr. Shah went on to complete his internship at the SUNY Upstate Medical University affiliated UHS Wilson Hospital. As a Massachusetts native, he returned to Boston to complete his Anesthesiology residency and his Pain Management fellowship at Steward St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, a Tufts University School of Medicine affiliate. During his time there, he was also chosen by his peers and superiors to lead as Chief Resident in Anesthesiology. In addition, he was recognized for his knowledge and technical skills with the Paul R. Levesque, MD Resident Award for Excellence in Pain Management.
Dr. Nirav Shah proudly holds memberships from the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA), the Massachusetts Society of Anesthesiology (MSA), the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management (ASRA), and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP).
