James Demetroulakos, M.D.

Dr. Demetroulakos has been practicing as a board-certified Otolaryngologist since 1990. He’s been with North Shore ENT for 15 years and prior to North Shore ENT, Dr. Demetroulakos practiced for four years in the Air Force. Dr. Demetroulakos speaks both Greek and Spanish.
Dr. Demetroulakos completed the seven year medicine program at Brown University in 1985 with a doctorate in medicine. He completed his general surgery internship at Washington Hospital Center in 1986 and went on to complete his head and neck surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital in 1990. Dr. Demetroulakos has completed teaching appointments at Harvard Medical School as clinical instructor of Otolaryngology and at Uniformed Services School of the Health Sciences as a clinical assistant professor. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology as Head and Neck Surgery Fellow by the American College of Surgeons.
